The other teams didn't walk away from Von, they signed other players. Just because he hasn't re-signed with us yet doesn't mean Von won't. One thing that may factor in is taxes. Texas charges less than California so two offers could look the same, but Texas would bet more money. If it's about money then maybe we do move on. I would think with Bon it would be more about winning another championship and being on one of the best defenses of all time with AD, Floyd and Ramsey. He might love the whole FA dating period and not want it to end. Who knows? So far the Rams haven't announced the necessary restructures of their stars' contracts to create enough money to pay Von. The waiting can be painful, but the Rams can be patient. Wagner and Fowler are still out there, true. But, Von is the best available player and we know now what he can do for us.
