I think both are definitely back in 2022. Hope they both (and everyone else) go do nothing for the next 3+ weeks. Away from the team facility. Away from workouts. Away.

McVay is getting married this summer but until he has a child I don't think the consideration to leave is really there. My guess? He is given a 2-3 year extension/raise to keep him as (the league's highest paid?) Head Coach through age 39 or 40. Then he's off to MNF or other.

Donald? He is 5th in the league among defensive players in average annual contract value. But he is due $78.5M over the next three years. TJ Watt is #1 in average annual contract value at $28M. I don't think there's any tearing up of Donald's contract but I can see (a) his $40M of remaining base salary being guaranteed entirely and (b) a slight raise to make his next three years average $28M. I think he'll play through 2023 (10 seasons) and retire.
