Unfortunately, there are a whole lot of coaches being interviewed just to satisfy the Rooney rule and the interviewing team already knows that they aren't hiring the particular person that is being interviewed. Its all just a show.
it was a good idea, but it's time to do away with it..... An owner of any business has the right to interview and hire who ever they want....being forced to serves no purpose. You simply can't start forcing teams to hire someone based on their race....
Not a smart move by Flores imo, it feels like a money grab.... if he was that good of a coach he wouldn't have to worry about any of this. Hate to see him be led by greedy lawyers like this.
The league is shifting to offensive minded head coaches....look at all the teams that make the playoffs these days, most are led by offensive coaches.
The divisional round only had one or two defensive HC and they didn't make it to past that round
Most owners these days don't care what color you are, they care about wins..... bottom line.
