This where I lose confidence in McVay. He defended that decision by looking back at past games played and how Rams closed things out vs what is actually happening in the game right now. What kind of coach uses what happened in the past vs other teams to dictate how to call plays now?
What inside running plays did the Rams run against the Niners that yielded any hope that Rams can get a first down?
McVay isn't a genius. He is stubbornly dumb.
Or he can be just saying stupid things because he thinks everyone else is dumb to not realize the stupid thing he is saying.
