12-4, division on the line, home field through the first 2 playoff games on the line, (supposedly)hated 49ers in town...that isn't enough? Honestly, I don't think LA even cares about the LA/SF rivalry. It's the same way with the Dodgers. The Padres and the Giants treat the series like it's the World Series. Dodgers and their fans make sure the beach ball has air in it and then get bored.
Hard core Rams fans respect the rivalry. But there just aren't enough hard core Rams fans. The general LA market doesn't care at all about the Rams, much less a rivalry game.
