Wow, you only had to go back 4 years to find a poor example? I don't see their stadium filled with Raiders fans. That would be apples to apples. Not to mention, the 49ers were 2-7 and the Raiders were 1-7. And the 49ers had Nick Mullens starting at QB. On top of all of that, the capacity is 68,500 and the official attendance was listed at 69,592. Lot of empty seats in that picture but a still image can be deceiving depending on when you take it.
Take this screen cap just before halftime for example. Doesn't look like a half empty stadium to me.
