That's an interesting post. I think most fans that don't live here are envious of what IS here: the beach, the mountains, the beautiful people (i.e. women), the weather ( we don't have hurricanes, cyclones, etc), Hollywood, the Entertainment, and of course the baseball, basketball, college football, blah blah.
When A is envious of B he roots for B to lose. Human nature.
