To me being 12-5 and more than likely being bounced in the first round of the playoffs doesn't have a better feel than being 9-8 or 8-9 and not making it. I've been a fan through thick and thin, and I've suffered through the lean years like everyone else here. But this, to me, doesn't feel any different than those lean years did. In fact, right now, I feel a lot worse than I did in any of those losing years.
I think the most disappointing part is the utter realization that this, in all reality, is not a championship team, it's just not.
"Ooooo we made it to the playoffs!!!!"
"Yay!!! Rams won the division!!"
"We should be happy"
Really? Why?
