He has been outcoached too often and too regularly to be considered a top coach. A good coach to be sure, but not a championship one. He'll lose to better coaching almost every time. Today was just the latest example. Did well to establish a lead but then tightened up and choked away the victory.
Which is his habit. In a big game with everything on the line, he will cave in on himself and blow it. He is our version of Marty Schottenheimer. 10 wins and the playoffs consistently but fizzling when it counts.
