Anyone who works in a hospital in any state will tell you that the majority of the sickest patients and those that have to be intubated are unvaccinated.
No one ever said vaccines will stop you from getting covid. What they do do, and quite effectively is vastly reduce the chance you'll need to be hospitalized with a severe case and / or die from it.
