But I never really cared for popular opinion nor making sure I am aligned with it. I think the guy has an interesting career path in terms of what he's been exposed to. And I think he has good leadership. What matters is the players not the typical keyboard warrior with a sensitive outlook and quick trigger finger.
That team plays hard which is noteworthy given how outgunned they are. I like how he's managed a very tough first season. If I'm the owner I wouldn't be down on him at all. I'd be ready to support him if he wants to improve a coordinator spot or other staff move in fact. Add a few key players to the roster in FA, and have a strong draft and things will look better next year.
