Yeah, the cap goes up to $208.2M next year. And the Rams do shed the dead money from both Goff and Gurley.

But they also have a half dozen guys who will make a combined $73.35M more in 2022 than they did in 2021. [ramsrule.com] That will eat up pretty much all of that recovered dead money and all of the increase in the cap.

I think the $1.89M is pretty accurate. Spotrac shows $4.5M [www.spotrac.com]

Forbes actually reported that the Rams will be over the 2022 cap: "Looking ahead, the Rams, by roughly $3 million, are among three teams with obligations which exceed the ‘22 cap. " [www.forbes.com]
