Pretty sure it was Joe Buck who said (commenting on now many of McVay's coaches are hired away as HC's elsewhere), that word is that McVays's barista just got a job interview as HC for an NFL team.
NFL teams are sniffing around for new coaching hires already at this time of year. And no doubt McVay's grapevine has it in the wind that there's at least a couple of his coaches that other teams want to poach, maybe as HCs. Probably Morris and O'Connell, and maybe Thomas Brown. And perhaps some others that would offer a promotion like Wes Phillips or Zac Robinson.
Essentially the idea is that McVay really knows how to pick coaching talent. I just wish the Rams could at least keep their OC and DC for another year. I also hope they can keep Carberry who has done a magnificent job with the Oline.
