Minority hiring angle

Also, it'd be great if McVay really went hard after the best minority coaches in college or NFL ranks...and hire them. We need to take advantage of the new rule(TWO -3rd rounders for every hire) for minority hiring. And, of course, I'm not saying to hire guys that are not good enough - but if two guys are even let's lean towards the minority hire to help build the team. We need to build that into our strategy for drafting talent just like we are doing with the Comp picks. I'll bet the Pats/Ravens, etc are thinking this way too.
It's a smart way to get TWO 2nd day picks every few years - which would be huge for us.

justa thought.

I like the idea and I think the Rams are locked in. However, its not the rams hiring minorities, but their own minorities being hired elsewhere in premium positions (Brad Holmes for example which landed 2 thirds).

If their hires go to premium positions, OC or DC or HC or GM, then their is compensation.
