I hear what you saying and agree that there was a lot working against the Rams on Sunday. I also think it's possible to be happy about getting a win AND be unsatisfied about how the Rams played in certain aspects of the game regardless of the situations with injuries and COVID.
For me and, it's looks like several others, the main things people are upset about is:
1 - Getting away from the run game even when it's working well. Greed, a desire to show how "smart" the offense is and impatience may be the ultimate downfall of this team.
2 - A really good veteran QB making poor decisions down near his own team's end zone multiple times over multiple games is a reason for concern. Stafford should know better. Giving short fields to the teams currently in the play-off hunt will usually lead to more points than what the Vikes put up. And, it puts your defense in a high-stress situation immediately. I would love to have been able to hear what was being said in the defensive huddle after than INT that Stafford threw in the flat on the right side.
Certainly getting an ugly win is better than the alternative but it's pretty rare that competitive folks are ever fully satisfied. I doubt the players and the coaching staff are happy about the win yet unsatisfied with much of how the game played out.
The upside is that this team is good enough to play ugly/poorly and still win, on the road, shorthanded against a .500 team, even with 3 turnovers. The Cardinals haven't been able to do that. However, wanting every coach to make the right calls and every player to play to their highest level, all at the same time, each and every week is exactly what I would like to see. Not sure it's possible. It's certainly the objective for coaches and players and fans, though.
