But don't you think they actually gave the run game a fair shot yesterday? I was actually pleased with how many times they attempted to establish the run but our guys just weren't getting bubkis. I was actually thinking during the game that I really can't remember a long run from one of our RB's. I'm probably just forgetting but it seems that we so rarely get anything longer than 10 yards that it has to be partly on the RB's themselves. It's so frustrating to see Tennessee's 3rd...4th, whatever, RB break a 70 yarder yesterday.
On the other hand, it was nice seeing Jefferson break one. I really didn't think he'd a) win the reception b) not get tackled or c) keep his feet. For any other team, that play would have ignited a spark. I think we went 3 and out on the next drive. Of course, that was after the defense failed to get a stop after the explosive TD. Our whole team is like playing handball against a mattress right now.
