This definitely seems like the biggest problem with out offense. Stafford is dropping back and having nowhere to throw on top of everything else. Defenses have no fear of our running game and are able to drop into coverage with no chance of an explosive running play. Obviously, our OL isn't equipped to block under these circumstances. But, everything's cyclical. I can live with being pass first to set up the run but we can't run in run situations.
Part of that is the OL being on their collective heels, part of it is execution and part of it is RB. Henderson and Michel have both been very underwhelming. Henderson isn't explosive and Michel isn't a hammer. I keep looking at other teams that go through and come out of slumps but with the Rams it feels more like it's just slipping away. Can a regime win a locker room back after they check out? In season? I've thought Zimmer in Minnesota had lost the Vikings more than once and he finds a way to persevere so McVay's probably not too far gone, but it looks bleak right now for sure.
