Agreed on everything though I will differ a little on the fact that we're a bit soft as an offense. Our line isn't soft necessarily, and they were firing off in the run game unnoticed apparently by McVay, but it's soft in terms of how McVay runs it as a finesse attack. The danger in our offense is
all in the passing game.
If McVay is honest with himself he will connect the dots. He needs to IMO because every single loss he's had in a big game has missed that element. And I think they need to get a little work done during each week focusing on running the ball when you have to i.e. to settle down the offense.
We may need another RB to accomplish that too. Michel is the right kind of back, the kind I'm talking about, but he seems to get dinged up like the rest of our room. So if Howell can't provide that they should scour the streets to find someone who can. And if they do that there's still room for this team to be the last one standing, they just have some room to grow.
