I don't know what they do. I'm just looking at it realistically. Do we really think that Watson, I'm sure among many other rich athletes, only attempted this with these 22 women? Does it make sense that he would be propositioning all of them if he never got a positive reply? Sure, massage therapy is legitimate but is reasonable to assume that these private contractors don't make a little extra when the opportunity arises? That they don't have places of business for a reason?
I'm not saying every one of them, most of them or any particular percentage of them. But I do think we have to open our eyes to the situation. How reasonable is it to assume that women who make a living by touching and massaging strangers wouldn't regularly be propositioned? I think there are some really naive or disingenuous people talking about this.
And, like I said, is it reasonable to assume that Watson hasn't had any number of them actually say yes to his offers? Is Watson the only one who's ever done this sort of thing? Did any of these women file charges against others who have propositioned them? Is Watson's the only wiener that they've ever touched?
This looks alarmingly like gold-digging by the lawyer and by the women. Since Watson wouldn't settle, they are taking the vindictive route.
