I don't think anyone has even remotely suggested that these girls are actually "sex workers".
Of course, might the "massages" be on the risque side?
None of us knows just now.
But what is so interesting is how many "massages" from so many different women he received. Does this suggest that perhaps he did his thing and the massage therapist refused to seen him again, so he moved on to the next one, and the next one, and.....?
If they were disguised sex workers, then Watson was paying for what he was looking for and these women deserve nothing.
If not.... then this rises well beyond boys being boys.
I have predicted and stick with it that despite those rushing to his defense, if the allegations are proved true, his NFL career is over. The optics of it are just too much to overcome for the modern politically sensitive NFL, and for the news media. This wouldn't be cured by a slickly written PR announcement or a year or so away from the game. This would hang around his neck forever and a day.
There is no way to know until the court settles it. I hope for his sake that what there is here is a conspiracy of major proportions. Problem is, such conspiracies are rare and only exist in the fantasy world of fans and defense lawyers.
The dude is done, even if he gets traded. He won't play until this is settled, and his potential new team will have to live with crossed fingers for some time. Not going to happen unless the trade is so full of caveats and claw backs that it amounts to Houston simply ridding themselves of his presence.
