I played football in HS and College. It's all about competition. Being a competitor.

I put ALOT of time and effort in to that game. Every week, film study, knowing the plays and adjustments along with weight room and sprints at practice. It was WORK!

I WAS READY TO PLAY! I WANTED TO GET ALL THE SNAPS, PERIOD!

I did not worry about getting injured. Heck, I could trip walking down the stairs or slip on a wet floor. Getting injured was NEVER a thought that went through my mind.

I worked hard to keep my position, I did not want to give up game time because that was MY REWARD for all my hard work and effort.

I get where Ramsey is coming from....I also get where McVay is coming from....They will talk it out and Ramsey will get it. Heck, McVay loves competitors, but being smart with players is his job as HC.

No harm, no foul on this one IMHO.
