I'm not concerned by this and agree that it's an issue that can be address by an informal short meeting between player and coach.
But I have to wonder if Ramsey has any incentives in his contract that deals with the number of plays he's on the field for during the season. If that's the case (and Ramsey is concerned about maximizing his contract), then Woody ought to speak with him. Didn't the organization take care of him a couple of seasons back when he missed out on a bonus when McVay sat starters out of the last regular season game when playoff seeding had been decided? I thought that was a classy move by the team.
But that's Jalen Ramsey. I could understand how another player with a lower profile might be frustrated if they were trying to max out their contract. Business is business, right?
