My eyes tell me we are playing more passively in the secondary. It may well be Staley's scheme, but it seems (comparatively) passive. I can't say for sure, but doesn't look like we are disguising our defensive looks as well as last year.
In terms of personel, I don't see a big drop off from Brockers. I do see a drop off from Johnny Johnson. Just my opinion.

The DBs are the ones who play the scheme and they have to play it the way they
think best.
If you are talking zones versus man---we didn't play a lot of man last year and not a lot this year

I call passive when you're playing 5+ yards off the WR. IMO, guys like Ramsey are better suited for press coverage.
Are you suggesting the DB's are playing the scheme differently than last year, or the same?
