I don't think he is as a reliable passer. I don't see him as a viable BU at this point in his career. He has done a nice job for a guy trying to make a team.....How would he do under real fire, I don't want a guy as the backup who has not shown a thing under the real gun, we have too much riding on this year IMO. He's got the movements for sure (at least against his peers...3rd stringers)....I would want him to have a bit more time under his belt to become the step in #1.
I politely disagree. IMO, Perkins showed he can put "touch" on the ball as well as throw a "dart" when needed. He can make the long outs that the Wolf is known for not being able to make. IMO, the ONLY thing Perkins lacks right now is experience.
Were you ok having the Wolf as the backup last year when he didn't have any experience "under the real gun"? Perkins is getting a lot of love right now for a good reason. He is not perfect yet but is showing a ton of potential.
Let's just hope we go with the correct guy just in case we need him to step in. I think we all want the best outcome no matter who is the #2 QB.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
