It's so silly reading about the joint practice reports vs the Cowboys and Raiders regarding Jalen Ramsey getting toasted.
Ramsey has gotten toasted by "CeeDee Lamb" and again by "Hunter Renfrow" in joint practices in the last 2 weeks.
Joint practice & Preseason hype is big every year leading up to the regular season.
When the real games begin and Ramsey is getting toasted, I will be one of the first posters to share my concerns.
I chuckle imagining Lamb and Renfrow toasting Ramsey in a games that count.
How did Ramsey do in 2020 vs the other teams top WR's?
Amari Cooper
Steffon Diggs
Terry McLaurin
Allen Robinson
DK Metcalf
Mike Evans
DeAndre Hopkins
DK Metcalf
DeAndre Hopkins
DK Metcalf
Each of those seven wide receivers put up 1,000 yards receiving this season, yet none of them topped even 57 yards against Ramsey.
And all of them except for McLaurin have been Pro Bowlers at some point in their careers, so they’re well-established players.
So in 10 games against these wideouts, Ramsey allowed 22 catches for 235 yards and one touchdown combined.
I'm not naïve and Ramsey could take a minor step back in 2021.
I'm not betting against him though based on joint practices and preseason hype that happens every year.
