IMHO...You start the season and EVERY GAME counts. Period, end of story. HS does it. College does it.
The product we watched last week vs the Chargers should be "FREE ADMISSION" for anyone willing to go sit through it.
One game, like last week. That's enough. Then, the season starts and ALL THE GAMES COUNT!
The owners would still make tons of money from concessions, parking and TV revenue.
Bottom line, the game is FREE!
But, it's a great way to have families to bring kids and turn pre season into a day at the stadium. Family fun day. Hand out Ram T Shirts, mini Ram footballs, hats to ALL KIDS in attendance. This is a way to create "life long" fan base.
