these games have become an extension plan for adding $'s to a teams cash flow. Can't make any cash doing a scrimmage. Back in the day some of these games were done as charity events.....I wasn't around, but have seen several programs sold on eBay etc. for some of those "charity games" also had games with the pros and college all stars as well.
