1. Akers was not used at the start of the season.....people were complaining on the board. Not sure if it was because he was a rookie and he was learning.
Henderson got the bulk of the carries.

2. About 2 months in, Akers took over and got the bulk of the carries including the playoffs. Henderson all but disappeared. Henderson did get some reps when
Akers was hurt for a couple games.

There are about 5 or 6 threads going on right now about Henderson's ability to stay healthy and limited production. I think that is why the Rams drafted Akers so high as they felt, although Henderson is a nice back, he has a role of 8-10 carries and that's about it.

I also think the Rams lack depth at the running back.
