Rams could trade for a RB. Funk and Jones no nfl carries and hHenderson always hurt and 600 yards rushing last year

Agreed 79. I think they need a vet back there. Someone who can pass block and read blitz's pretty well because you know if the defense doesn't feel threatened by the run game, they will blitz to stop our pass attack. I am not sure any of our rookies can do that well enough just yet.

Henderson worries me as he seems to be dinged up quite a bit but then again, he only had ONE less yard than Akers on the season!

Losing Akers is a big deal but maybe not as big as some seem to think. He seemed to be getting better as the year went on but also seemed to get dinged up easily just as Henderson does.

This was a "prove it" year for Akers. If he could be a 1000 yard guy or a guy D's feared for a full year would have been huge for him and us. I just wasn't sure he could do it. He really didn't have game breaking speed, super quick cuts or and didn't seem to be a guy who would have a lot of long "home run" type plays IMO.

It will be impressive if he can come back from this injury. History doesn't show good odds. Here is a list of recent achilles injuries for RB's...

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood

We learned when Gurley was hurt - Rams need a rusher to make play action work

Does Stafford need play action as much as Goff did?
