difficult to believe

ive said this many times but i dont think that was the plan at all. I think "the plan" is to generate a whole new generation of ram fans, particularly thos in the la market. Did they do that? I dont know if anyone knoes yet but im sure they are tracking some metrics. Further given the design of the plan I dont think the backlash from the older fans who want a return to the 70s or 80s ram look was at all unexpected.
Further, i dont get the idea that it was all demoff. He is certainly in charge and will bear the responsibility one way or the other. but you paint a picture like he sat in a room by himself ignoring everyone else. meanwhile, there is no evidence of this and its so far-fetched its difficult to believe. the rams have demonstrated time and again that they use analytics, why would you believe they depart from that tendency in this situation?

So you think the plan was to spend 2 years or more developing a uniform that your not really sure anyone will like and then throw that all away and offer a uniform you already have and already know "everyone" will like? If that is any semblance to the "real plan" they should all be fired.
IMO, the "plan" (if you want to call it that) was to "re-invent the wheel" when it wasn't broke. It just needed some "patching". The fix was sooo simple but Demoff just couldn't see it.
Unfortunately, Demoff thought he was the "smartest guy in the room" and thought his idea would go over HUGE, but...it didn't. I can't blame 100% on Nike. They did the Watts Rams uni's that look way better than ours.
In the '70's we had the Ferragamo's...now we have the Demoff's! IMO, the "Demoff's" will go down in Ram history as a failure and will be mocked for the neutering of the helmet horn while trying to incorporate silly things like "the sun", "the Sand" and something called the "Fibonacci sequence".
They took the emphasis off the Rams and tried to put the emphasis on L.A. and Cali. IMO, they pooped on Ram tradition and legacy and it's a shame.
The "fireworks" Demoff thought would happen only turned out to be a "sparkler". The kiddies like "sparklers" but the adults are less than impressed.
However, I agree that everyone who had a say in these new uni's should be F-I-R-E-D.
