I like Hendu and see it as a shared carries situation. I don't see how either will get a lot of passes thrown their way as we have receivers galore with Woods, Kupp, Jefferson, DJ and TuTu along with Higbee and Harris threats all over the field. We will run the ball a lot and we will target our receiving threats. Sure it's nice to imagine the RBs also being little Marshall Faulks catching deep seam passes themselves but where's the need? Also, there seems to be some little unnecessary digs about Goff in the article. Is this really necessary? Can't we speculate good things for Stafford without tearing down our last QB?
Is this what you’re referring to as a ‘dig’, SoCal?
Henderson and Akers are likely to not just be the primary running backs but will also receive a fair amount of catches. The Rams no longer have to worry about their quarterback being a second too slow on jet sweeps and end arounds. They should get a lot of opportunities to catch passes in the backfield and even run deeper routes. The playbook is WIDE OPEN this season and that could mean Henderson can truly thrive.I don’t think that paragraph is out of line at all. Just telling it like it is.
