yes thats possible. im just basing it on my observations of nb to date. imo he has been ok and would be the fall back position. that being said, if he takes the next step, then yeah...hes your guy.
I agree that NB has merely been ok. He's not ever going to be an elite LT. But that's part of my thought. The Rams may feel comfortable with going with a LT that's not elite or super expensive. Just a guy you can get by with for a season or two. Obviously they would be trying to upgrade in the draft if they could but if you have someone ok there it makes it less urgent.
This is just another possibility on approach.
