So now everyone who thinks Stafford is going to explode in this offense happen to be Goff supporters? Please.
.
But there seems to be a correlation.
Far from it, it's the exact opposite. People who dump negative hyperbole on Goff are the most likely to be big outspoken Stafford guys. In fact it has nothing to do with Goff either way.
I defend the Stafford trade and routinely sat Stafford will do well in this offense. But I don't recall many saying he is "elite." I think the general judgment is that he's very good.
They will still need a running game and at least solid protection with Stafford. He will do well but he will not single-handedly make up for the lack of those 2 things.
You speak very confident that: They will still need a running game and at least solid protection with Stafford. He will do well
but he will not single-handedly make up for the lack of those 2 things. You might be correct but it's still an opinion.
We have no data with Stafford on the Rams to factualize what he will do well or can't based on not being able to single handedly make up for the lack of those 2 things.
He's on a new team and it's possible he might single handedly make up for the lack of those things.
Maybe not entirely or on an epic level but he may surprise us if those challenges are put in front of him in 2021.
Odds are in favor you could be correct but a lot is yet to be seen and learned with his time as a first year Rams QB under those possible circumstances.
