Steve Young did mostly avg work his first 6 years-1986-1991.....then his talent shined in 1992+.....hated him more than Montana, because you could stop Montana here and there, but Young had the feet and could move into position.
I think Stafford, in the 'system' will be very, very good. Vinny Testaverde always had talent, but never accomplished anything until 1996--- a full 10 years in the league....and then bam, the talent shines....Staff will, too.
And,
Staff doesn't need to be great, Rams went to the bowl with a good Goff.
