Yes, but 2019 is something on his resume. And he did perform relatively well overall. 500 snaps is 500 snaps. I thought he looked like he belonged from that first SNF start vs. Chicago.
But as far as RG in 2021, he definitely should only be 'penciled in' there as the starter for now.
It's not enough for me yet (the 2019 snaps). He got snaps in 2019 because of a long series of injuries (Rams started 9 different linemen in 2019). And they are used to helping their ROT.
To me Evans has to show clear development. But if he doesn't I'm okay with the ROG spot--I think there are players behind him.
Maybe Evans can prove he's a valid starter. But it doesn't matter that much if he doesn't--it looks like they have alternatives.
