Myself, I’m okay with the Corbett to OC move. For now.
But I am among those that are wondering about Evans at RG a little bit. Sure, he’s a road grader but what about his pass pro? Has it improved sufficiently since last year? That’s kinda hard to believe.
So now Rams are contemplating starting a RG and a RT tandem that is VERY strong in the run game but frankly maybe below average in pass pro. And this after the huge investment in the 33 year old Stafford that we know McVay is gonna want to use extensively in an aggressive passing attack? See where I’m going with this?
In short, is Evans the best overall RG on this roster? I wonder...

RG is definitely the "open" position. And that's a good thing. Evans needs to get a lot better than he was in that playoff loss and there's reason to think he'll take a step forward. So gonna enjoy seeing the competition unfold there.
Anchrum is his best competition IMO. But I wonder if Anchrum is going to slide into their "LT of the future" role now that they know it's not going to be Boom. Kromes talked him up quite a bit in that role.
Right now I wonder about Kromer talking up Anchrum at LOT. AK said Anchrum had long arms. Actually he doesn't--not according to available measurements. So it's not clear that the new OL coach will see him as a potential LOT.
Evans does have to show he has improved over that last game of his, agreed.
