We will have money to add a post June 1 cut or 2 or carry some over to 2022. How can this be? It's almost like they planned it
The front office must be reading this board and adjusting accordingly
I like the board more when people actually hear what is being said. A lot of these fights are just people screwing up what was said. (And yeah I've misread too. That's why I know the best response to it being shown you've misread is just to own up and move on.)
No one said the Rams are in cap hell.STL, this is not addressed to you. Just using your post as a springboard.
What got said was this. IF they keep creating cap space by restructuring, that will PUT THEM in cap hell. That would be in the future. And that's simple logic. If you KEEP restructuring, what you're actually doing is subtracting future cap space. You don't want that because it makes it harder to do things like extend Stafford.
What got said about 2022? No one said they were in cap hell. What got said is that the 2022 cap is tight. But that's before some strategic cuts that could carve out some space.
Now to put it all together. IF they restructure a lot of people in 2022, that will FURTHER exacerbate the issues with FUTURE cap space. Why? Because they already did heavy re-structuring in 2021, and if they KEEP doing it, they just add to future problems. That is how you create cap hell. (Which is what actually got said.)
You know who else says the exact same things? The Rams. Demoff and Snead have both been very open about avoiding overdoing it with restructures because it just creates future issues.
And as long as I am on a roll, there's 2 possible responses to be being told you misread. 1, be a man, own up, and move on. 2. get fussy and defensive and huffy about it.
