What makes him special are his speed and suddenness. If the Rams make him put on 20 or 30 lbs is he the same guy?
I think you just play the guy at his current weight and put him on the field when he's ready mentally. If he has pride and competitive drive and his skills play he'll be fine.
When you're lighter of build hitting the ground doesn't hurt as much. Bulking up doesn't really guarantee anything. Maybe when heavier he gets lined up by DBs more often and takes more hits. The Rams took him because of his strengths so play him and see what happens.
