Yeah, I've posted it in other threads, but candidly, I'm pacing the house, drinking another adult beverage, because I can't believe what I witnessed tonight.
We drafted a WR the size of a Jr. High kid
But nothing compares to this:
We traded a pick to our division rival San Francisco 49ers and hand delivered a shiny, new running back to their offense!!!!!!
That offense ran over the Ram defense last year, in TWO LOSSES, with well over 100+ yards in both games!!!!
How Rams fans aren't imploding tonight is beyond me. Have you ever seen this before? Giving your most hated enemy a shiny new weapon? Will the Packers trade Rodgers to the Bears tomorrow? Will the Chiefs send Tyreek Hill to the Raiders in the morning? Will the Steelers send the Ravens a running back??
How did that call go between Lynch and Snead?? Did we desperately seek a 4th rounder and admit it to the 49ers brass? Were the 49ers brass laughing as they made the call to see if Snead was do desperate for another pick, that he'd make the trade with them? They hung up in SHOCK that he did and busted out laughing?? WHO DOES THIS??
This is one of the most horrific moves in Ram's history. Helping your division rival with the very weapon they killed you with twice this year. It's unprecedented. What's next from Snead, sending Cam Akers to Seattle for a tour of Starbucks corporate and a signed Nirvana album??
Shanahan just built the middle of his offense in this draft: young QB, new OL and a shiny RB courtesy of......the Los Angeles Rams.
That stupid house in Malibu, oil paintings of Goodell and witty retorts from Snead don't cover how shocking this is......we helped our division rival. Are we that desperate? Is this straight incompetence? Do Ram's fans somehow believe that an extra pick in the 4th round makes this okay??
I don't know how this is being missed by so many in the media....but you can bet if Sermon runs this team over, the Rams will be a laughing stock for years to come.
No matter what happens, the Rams have gone sideways the past few months.....and tonight proves it.
