It boils down to management believing that they are better and smarter than the rest of their opponents. That is a necessary trait to be a good player but it's not a good trait as a manager / gm.
It's worked so far. I can cross my fingers that it keeps working. As I've been saying, eventually you get proven a legend or a fraud. You can't keep kicking cans down the road. It's do or die for the Rams. If they don't win in the next year or two it's a loooooong rebuild. I hate making SF better today when the Rams NEED to win today.
