How developed can he be at 20 years old after having played all of one game this past year?
I know this is speculation. But man.... I don't care if Bellicheck was his coach. You have to have reps. And he doesn't.
In fact, I have been hearing a number of former GMs commenting lately about how dicey it is to pick ANY player who opted out this past year. That's an entire year of development that is gone. And that it's one thing to pick one up on days 2 or 3, but in the 1st round..... even in the top 5 or 10?
And while I have the greatest respect for your analysis, listening to the Sirius XM NFL channel and some GMs that ought to know, they're nearly to a man saying that of all the whispered 1st rounders, Lance is the most suspect because he has played such little college ball, and almost none this past season.
