IMO They'll take Jones because it's the safer pick.
Plus Jones is ready to start now, Lance has a higher ceiling, Jones a higher floor. If the pick is Lance, they will have to have him sit a year under Jimmy G, Niners won't wait and Jones will be the pick IMHO.
Jimmy G is still under contract and they have proven they can win the NFC with him at QB.
So under these circumstances, wouldn't you take the guy with the higher ceiling?
