Re: Not sure whether it is a team strategy or a GM philosophy

Good points, Rock.

Rams, under Snead, have enjoyed a beautiful evolution.

Gone are the days of drafting for present time needs with lots of misses.

Gone are the days of scouring other teams waiver wire cuts to scrape together starters.

Gone are the days of starting to think about the next draft in October and a top 6 pick next year.

Gone are the days of decades of doormat status with literally record breaking losses.

And good riddance.

Now we enjoy a SB caliber roster.

We largely draft players a year early.

Players we are forced to let walk are snapped up within hours at FA.

Other teams are starting to copy Snead’s ‘trade away 1sts for proven Pro Bowlers’ philosophy.

We are on a 4-season winning streak and everybody expects that to soon be 5 in a row.

The trio of Demoff, Snead, and McVay are working together like a well oiled machine.

I’ve been a Ram fan for 53 years and I can honestly say that I have the highest level of confidence in this regime over any of those in the preceding 5 decades. AND I see no reason to fear that it will not continue on as long as this trio is together.

I'm wondering if the Rams draft strategy will change or start to change this year

With Kroenke, Demoff, Snead and McVay they are in permanent win-now mode
