He knew Blythe wasn't good enough scenario, because if that was the case the Rams could have upgraded the position earlier on. They could have gotten the deal the Cards got and upgraded OC. I would feel much better with the OL addressed and just having to find a speed WR than the position we find ourselves in now. Allen was a complete disaster when he started so much so Blythe was a Godsend initially because he was so much better. Eventually we got used to his level of production and wanted more but he was always two heads and shoulders above Allen so if that is where McSnead is going, I am very very uneasy. Maybe someone already on the roster was the better OC BUT he and Goff weren't a good fit. They did everything they could to prop Goff up so maybe they played the slightly worse OC prospect who had a better rapport with our starting qb. Feels like I am grasping at straws.
