Yeah. I agree. I think it is an experiment that is something like: well, we have a guy who can run an NFL offense, has done some good things in the past, and who knows? Maybe he turns some kind of corner and becomes our longer term answer at QB. However, I really doubt that they are counting on it.
Detroit has the 7th pick this year and plenty of ammo to move up a few spots if need be to grab a QB they're high on.... if they want to.
But if they did that, can you imagine what a double whammy that would be for Goff.
