...felt he was trying to counterbalance the CHI or NE D that stymied the O and adjust and Goff was not able to make the changes. Be quicker in progressions, go to hot reads, see what the D was doing, etc.

Yes, McVay is part of this equation, I just think he thought after two years Goff was not getting it and got the green light from Kroenke to pull the trigger.

I think he is aware of his shortcomings, but just my opinion...
