I personally like Goff and will root for him. I thought he was salvageable, just needed someone to get into his head. Comparing stats is such an inadequate way of comparing players. You want a fair comparison compare both QB's performance with good coaches and bad coaches. Its hard to make that comparison because Stafford has been saddled with the likes of Marrinelli, Scwartz Patricia. His most competent coach was Jim Caldwell. Maybe we should look at his stats compared to goff with Fisher since that seems to be the same level of coach as what Stafford had in detroit, If we were just looking at s tats maybe Jameis Winston should be our QB he did lead the league in yards thrown 2 years ago. Its not about strictly stats just like it is not about just playoff wins. What about opportunity? What about 4th quarter comebacks. Brady does not have the best stats year after year yet he is the GOAT
