Who exactly would you draft that puts the Rams over the top?
A little secret about the draft. After roughly the 15th to 19th pick in the 1st round, there is a dropoff in talent (depends on the quality of the draft year to year, but 15-19 is a good range)
The surefire edge rushers are gone, the top 2 CBs are gone, the QBs are gone, the LTs are gone, the best 2 ILBers are gone...
Do you know who KC drafted with their 1st round pick in 2019 to get them over the hump? No one. They traded a 1st and a 3rd and a conditional 2020 to Seattle for Frank Clark. Clark helped. Rookie LJ Collier, who Seattle took as a DE to replace Clark, would not have.
Just some food for thought.
Its also nice to be arguing about how far the Rams should go in the playoffs instead of if they can have a winning record.
