We know what we got out of Goff. And what we didn’t get.
We had the best defense in the NFL, we should have won the division, all we needed was consistent competent QB play.
Goff cost us the division title and at least one home playoff game.
I don’t expect our defense to repeat that supreme level of best in the league this year. We lost Staley and probably Floyd and JJ. So we need much better play from our QB to at least win our division.
It will probably take at least 12 games to win the West. If we do that, the trade was justified. And no one will be on the hot seat.
