Listen to the end until he makes the comparison with Wentz and the eagles.

I am not sure why you liked that, to be honest. He says things like if you're the qb you go into Green Bay and out play Aaaron Rodgers.

What?

The Rams defense was giving Rodgers a free road to paradise. I've mentioned this before but there are only 3 times in a playoff game since the NFL/AFL merger where a team scored on all 5 of its first 5 possessions, and the Rams Jan 16th game was one of the 3. That's 1 of 3 times in more than 50 years of NFL history.

Goff played well, hurt. Has he gone into the opponents house and outplayed them when a lot was on the line? Yeah, New Orleans 2018.

Either way the Rams did not trade Goff away because of that game.

I don't get your point about the Wentz comparison. Though that comparison does remind me of one thing--there's a lot of negative hyperbole about Goff's season, and people talk about him as it his 2020 season was as bad as Wentz. But--it's nowhere near as bad as Wentz, not even remotely. But that's how some talk. As a result IMO people being that negative are forced to exaggerate some things and they don't end up with an objectively balanced picture.

Goff struggled some, had 4 bad games, and was not as consistently good as he was previously.

That's not Wentz. Wentz fell completely apart. He didn't even have 4 GOOD games let alone just 4 bad ones.

....
You should probably stop with the Clint Longley defense of Goff. He's played in 6 playoff games and NO was the highlight. And he had a total of 1 TD. Goff has actually never thrown more than 1 TD in a playoff game.
